I am the lead physiotherapist at Active physiotherapy. Situated at the gym group Catford. I offer sports massage and physiotherapy assessment and treatment for a range of Conditions.  

I qualified as a physiotherapist in 2007 and have vast experience in both the NHS and private practice. My love of sport and exercise came from competing with my brothers in childhood and led to me playing basketball nationally and internationally. I completed a Sports Science degree at the University of Greenwich in 2001 and worked as a personal trainer before studying physiotherapy. I have lectured in sports injuries and rehabilitation at the University of Greenwich since 2017. 

 

I have worked as a physiotherapist with elite level athletes in track and field, rugby, NFL Europe and basketball. I have been lead physiotherapist with several GB national basketball teams and continue to be a consultant with former NBA player, Luol Deng’s, basketball talent camps.

 

My interests extend well beyond strength and conditioning and sports. I also have an interest in adolescent injuries, women’s health, chronic pain, acupuncture and post-surgical rehabilitation. I will take time to understand how your health condition is affecting your life, and work with your strengths to make improvements.
